Journal history

Revista de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias was first published in 1949 after Resolution No. 845 of the Faculty's Intervening Delegate, Agricultural Engineer Santiago L. Curelli.

Since its inception, and beating eventual financial difficulties, our Revista has published one volume per year, with two issues in June and December. In 1994, the creation of the Academic Publications Coordinating Center assumed the mission of ensuring continuity.

María Blanca Soto de Junín, professor at Drawing and Photographic Techniques, designed the journal´s cover. Spiral arrows represent the relentless progress of science, university research, and society coming together in the cultural development of humanity.

For 70 years, Revista de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias has been our Faculty's official scientific publication, devoted to spreading scientific research conducted in multidisciplinary agronomy, food science, and renewable natural resources.
