Abstract

The text addresses the axis end experiments of nearly two decades of Cristina Rivera Garza’s theoretic-creative practice parting from a reflection of the second edition of a selection of entries from her blog, Lo roto precede a lo entero. The point of departure of the blog, that ranges from 2004-2023, was to embrace the freedom promised by the internet twenty-five years ago, navigate the wave of irreverent democracy and the possibility of self-publication in the blogosphere. It comprises banal entries, experiments, games, infra-essays and reflections on digital and analogue writing, about the materiality of the book and the dematerialization of reading, of literature. In that sense, the blog is an archive that brings us close to the enigmas that are behind Rivera Garza’s writing practices.
