Research Data Policy

The Revista de Historia Americana y Argentina promotes transparency, reproducibility, and open access to research data, in accordance with current national and international regulations.

1. Mandate of Availability: Authors are required to make the primary data supporting their research results available, in accordance with Law No. 26,899.

2. Deposit in Repositories: Data must be deposited in a reliable institutional repository (such as CONICET Digital) or thematic repository before or during the manuscript submission process.

3. Data Availability Declaration (DDD): Authors must include a brief paragraph at the end of the article indicating where the data are located and under what conditions (e.g., "The data supporting this study are available in [Repository Name] with the DOI: XXX").

4. Data Citation: To cite the dataset in the bibliography: Pérez, Juan. "Survey on Reading Habits in Young People." Deusto University Data Repository, 2023. doi.org.

5. Ethical and Legal Exceptions: If the data cannot be made public (e.g., sensitive patient data or trade secrets), the author must justify the restriction and provide at least the metadata (a description of the data without the sensitive content).

6. Data Management Plan (DMP): Authors must submit a DMP detailing how the data were collected, processed, and preserved during the research.
